Our arrival in the land of opportunity was marked by struggle and determination. We faced the immense challenge of not knowing English and adapting to a new culture. I found work delivering newspapers for the New Herald, a job that not only supported my family, but also acted as the first steppingstone on our new path.
The foundation of my life has always been hard work and high standards. This ethos was ingrained in me at a young age at the military school, “Liceo Militar Jáuregui.” The demanding environment of the school pushed me to excel, and I graduated as the top student at the age of 17.
From there, my journey led me to Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, where I devoted six intense years to working full-time and studying law. This exhausting period of my life culminated in earning a Doctorate in Law, a testament to my perseverance. But in our new life in America, my degree was not recognized, prompting the necessity for a new career path.
It was during these challenging times that I discovered the world of real estate. The importance of property ownership struck a chord with me, and I decided to explore the field further. Despite the language barrier, I translated the course book from English to Spanish and in 2004, I earned my REALTORS® license in Florida.
Having been trained as a lawyer, the transition to sales was a novel experience. But my background in law gave me a unique understanding of contracts and negotiations, which proved invaluable in the world of real estate. Equipped with these skills, I embarked on my journey in this new realm, determined to succeed.
The road was filled with challenges, but my resolve remained steadfast. Utilizing my legal skills, I guided Floridians in their search for the perfect home. My unwavering dedication to my clients’ needs led to my rise through the ranks, and I eventually became the top salesperson in my company.
The global financial crisis of 2008 brought another turning point in my life. I took it upon myself to assist homeowners in distress, negotiating with banks to facilitate short sales and helping families keep their homes. The complex legal strategies I employed made me an indispensable resource to law firms seeking expert advice.
In 2011, I moved to California to join Bank of America, whilst also working towards my second Doctorate in Law. I successfully earned the degree by 2013 and decided to take control of my career. Using my real estate broker license, I set up my own company, which stands as a testament to my journey and commitment to serving others.
Our family expanded in 2015 with the birth of our second daughter, Elizabeth Carolina. Now, we are happily settled in California. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, dancing, watching movies, and, most importantly, spending time with my family.
I have dedicated more than 20 years of my life to learning and growing in the real estate field. With four degrees to my name, including two doctorates, I have accumulated extensive knowledge that sets me apart from many others in the industry. One of my primary goals is to help my clients navigate through real estate transactions smoothly. I manage contracts effectively and keep the process on track. Even in the digital realm, I have honed the ability to maintain a personal touch and keep my clients informed and engaged throughout the process.
What I truly enjoy about my work is the impact it has on people's lives. It brings me immense satisfaction to witness families find their dream homes and become homeowners. To me, it's not just about selling houses; it's about creating a sense of home and joy for my clients. I strive to make the entire process enjoyable, alleviating stress and infusing positivity into every interaction. When the transaction is over, I remain a trusted lifelong REALTOR®, here for you!
